You Don't Mess With the Zohans
Iran unsuccessfully attacks Israel. Israel then quickly humbles the Iranians. Hopefully the Iranians learned there lesson so the do not get nuked.

Iran has recently attacked its everlasting enemy of Israel. This seems unsurprising as the Iranian officials say this is revenge for a previous Israel attack earlier this month.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Israeli jet fighters demolished an Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria. This was a successful mission as far as Israel is concerned. Its reported at least seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, an elite overseas fighting force known as Quds Force. A couple Israeli F-35s lit up the embassy with six missiles that leveled the entire structure the ground. This has yet to be confirmed by Israel. Although Iran and the pentagon have both confirmed it.
This attack proved to be even more of a success when we learned the fighter pilots took out 2 Iranian generals. The first being Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a top military advisor in his sixties, earning the title of Brigadier General. The general earned his stripes in the Iran-Iraq war in the eighty’s. Nowadays, Zahedi was known as the go-between with the Lebanese group Hezbollah. His assassination would mark the first death of a senior level official since the war began in October.
Also killed in the Israeli leveling was another top general who commanded the Quds Force.
This set the stage for an Iranian retaliation which was bound to come sooner rather then later.
How did Iran respond and how did they do?
Simply put, swarms of missile drones with extraordinarily little success.
It has been reported that of the 300 odd missiles launched, a couple ballistic missiles made it through the defense and one of them managed to severely injure a 7-year-old girl.
The Israeli treated the attack as more of swarm of mosquitos rather than an actual threat. It’s reported that many Israeli citizens even enjoyed a beach day following the attack.
The Iranians launched at least 331 drones or missiles.
– 185 out of 185 kamikaze drones were downed.
– 103 out of 110 ballistic missiles got shot down
– 36 out of thirty-six cruise missiles were shot down
– 7 ballistic missile impacts have been recorded on Israeli territory
Israel fought off the attacks with F-35s, F15s and F16s to intercept drones along with Iron Dome, David’s Sling and Arrow I and II. With the help of allies US Air Force and Navy, and by Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Jordan used its F-16s and air defenses.
Overall, the revenge plot failed. Better yet it has put Israel in a better position. If the Iranians blow their load with pesky drones, it may show their weaknesses too much and Israel will of course seize the day and make them bend the knee. It would be nice to take care of the job finally. I do hear the utter works of tactical nuke being thrown around lately.
We will see. It does seem de-escalation is an unlikely scenario at this point. Israel will undoubtedly defend itself with extreme force.
It’s not confirmed but reported that Israel may have already followed up an attack on an airbase in Isfahan, Iran. That base is the Hesa Air Base which is long associate with the Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Company which succeeded the Bell Helicopter complex. This place is massive and is in full production of Bells helicopters as well as other variants.
Besides production of aircraft this base provided defense for multiple nuclear reactors as well as the Natanz Uranium Enrichment facility. A key resource to Iran's weapons programs. It is not yet public whether this facility is destroyed or not.
There are also reports Israel may have destroyed a high-level Hezbollah meeting in Baghdad. As well as reports that missile factories in Babil Iraq were targeted. Iran did however close major airports including the big one in Teheran and halted all nuclear plants. Flights did resume for normal citizens a few hours later.
The pentagon did admit they knew the attack would be conducted, but they did not know that targets in which Israel planned to hit. Although Israeli aircraft could not operate in the area without some coordination with the United States.
At the same time as the attack in Isfahan the Israelis also hit two Syrian military bases used for radar which may have been tracking the Israelis.
As Israeli drones and Jet fighters locked onto these targets the Iranians had little hope. The only defense they had in place was a Russian S-300 air defense system which failed completely.
The Iranians seemed to react as you might expect after such devastating blows. They first discounted the attacks saying they were local explosions not done by Israeli Air Force. However, they did make it extremely clear that they had zero intention of taking anymore military action towards the state of Israel.
Despite the radical internal pressure, the Israelis face from its population for an answer to the swarm of drones Iran sent their way, it seems they just wanted to send a message. A message that shows definingly just how vulnerable the Iranians are to Israelis Air Force.
