Let the looting commence.

This is a call for revolution, no longer shall we be slaves to corporations.

Self-checkouts, receipt checkers, card only machines. Thanks Walmart, I hate it all.

This is my call for revolution, I did not apply to work at these establishments. You don’t see this at your local mom and pop store. These machines are a cost saving mechanism for corporations, and they do not funnel down the savings to us.

Aligned with this, a cost for a bag. We are now charged for your packaging, openly. Around here plastic bags are no longer allowed, paper has been tapped as the replacement. At the rollout of this new measure, paper bags began to come with a price. Some stores as high as 15 cents! Robbery, that we accept.

Now I am not saying everyone should steal TVs, I’m saying we need to make enough errors to bring back human interactions at the end of the register.
No more self-checkout of 150 items in your massive cart, clogging up the line, and the area in general. No more people starting individual lines for individual machines instead of one good ole American line to them all. No more, please scan your item after ALREADY SCANNING THE ITEM.
To get to this heaven, we must trudge through hell.
We need to have as many human errors at self-checkout as possible, rendering the cost savings useless. Real minor things, that can be easily explained away as “I don’t know the machine”.
Fast clicking through the coupons, rewards, and “bags used” pages to avoid the bag fee. If they say something, happy to pay. By card. In a separate transaction. Resulting in a card processing fee higher than the cost of bags, again; I didn’t read the page, apologies.

Clicking a produce option, near your button that is cheaper. A simple slip of the finger that could save you a few bucks.
Accidentally miss scanning your second steak, put it in the bag and ask the technician why its not letting you continue. Maybe you scan the steak, maybe they clear the item.

Revolt. Cry anarchy. Protest. Vote.
Do something. These bag fees are jamming me up
